How do I transfer money to my Stocktwits account?
- Linking a US bank account via ACH is the fastest, most cost-effective method. Linking a bank account can be performed using our no-cost Plaid link process, a real-time verification process. This requires authenticating your bank account by logging into your account via a secured link one-time. For safety, we do not store your user name or password. If you bank with large US banks such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, or USAA, real-time ACH linking through Plaid is available.
- If your bank is not Plaid eligible or you prefer, we offer microdeposits as an alternative. This process takes a few days and requires a few steps over a few days after you enter your routing number and bank account number. When linking via Plaid just type “Test” in the search box for your financial institution. As you type the bank name, “Don’t see your bank? Link with account numbers” will appear on the bottom of the screen. Choose this option and you will be able to set up the microdeposits for linking your bank by adding your bank’s routing number and account number.
