How to Sign Up for Stocktwits

Creating a Stocktwits account is fast, free, and gives you instant access to the pulse of the market—from stocks to crypto and everything in between.

Whether you’re using desktop or mobile, setting up your account takes less than a minute.

 

Option 1: Sign Up on Desktop

  • Go to stocktwits.com.
  • Click the “Sign Up” button in the top-right corner of the homepage.
  • You’ll be given three sign-up options:
    • Continue with Google – sign in using your Gmail account.
    • Continue with Apple – for users on Safari/macOS.
    • Sign up with Email – enter your email address and create a password.
  • Choose your preferred method and follow the on-screen prompts.
  • Once completed, you’ll be redirected to your home feed.

 

✅ Pro Tip: If you use Google or Apple, you won’t need to remember a separate password for Stocktwits.

 

 

Option 2: Sign Up via the Mobile App (iOS & Android)

  • Download the official Stocktwits app:
  • Open the app and tap “Sign Up” on the welcome screen.
  • Choose one of the following:
    • Continue with Google
    • Continue with Apple (iOS only)
    • Sign up with Email
  • Complete your sign-up flow.
  • You’ll be prompted to set up your profile (optional) and start following tickers or creators.

 

App Advantage: Your session stays logged in across devices. You can switch between desktop and mobile at any time.

 

 

Troubleshooting Sign-Up Issues

  • Didn’t receive a verification email? Check your spam or promotions folder.
  • If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature, your account will be tied to a masked relay address. Make sure to use the same method when logging in later.
