How to Set Up Your Stocktwits Profile
Your Stocktwits profile is more than just a username—it’s your identity on the stream. A strong profile helps you build credibility, grow your follower base, and track your investing journey over time.
Setting up your profile only takes a few minutes and can be done from both desktop and mobile.
Step 1: Access Your Profile Settings
On Desktop:
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the homepage.
- From the dropdown, select “My Profile”.
- Click “Edit Profile” to begin updating your information.
On Mobile (iOS or Android):
- Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner.
- Tap “My Profile” from the list.
- Tap the pencil/edit icon to begin customizing.
Step 2: Add Key Details
To complete your profile, update the following:
- Profile Picture: Upload a clear image—this could be your photo, brand logo, or a unique avatar. Profiles with pictures tend to get more engagement and followers.
- Bio: Write a short description (max 160 characters) about who you are.
