If alerts have stopped arriving, the cause is usually a setting in Stocktwits or on your device. Work through this checklist.
1. Check Stocktwits settings
Open Settings → Notifications and make sure Push Notifications is turned on. For desktop alerts, turn on Web Push Notifications. See Managing Your Notification Settings.
2. Check your phone's settings
iPhone: open the Settings app → Notifications → Stocktwits, and turn on Allow Notifications.
Android: open Settings → Apps → Stocktwits → Notifications, and make sure they're allowed.
Turn off Focus or Do Not Disturb, or add Stocktwits as an allowed app.
On Android, exclude Stocktwits from battery optimization so it can receive alerts in the background.
3. Check your browser (web push)
Make sure your browser allows notifications from stocktwits.com. You can usually find this by selecting the icon to the left of the address bar and opening site settings.
4. Refresh the app
Update Stocktwits to the latest version.
Sign out, then sign back in to the account you expect.
Restart your phone.
