We’ve upgraded how cashtags work on Stocktwits — making them smarter, faster, and easier to follow. With autocomplete and logos, posting and reading streams just became more intuitive.

 

What is Autocomplete & Cashtag Logos?

 

Cashtags are how traders communicate on Stocktwits. We’ve added:

  • Autocomplete: Start typing $TSL… and instantly see suggestions to complete your ticker.

  • Logos: Company logos now display next to cashtags in feeds and posts, helping you spot symbols at a glance.

 

 

How It Works:

  • Autocomplete when posting: Type a cashtag, and the ticker will automatically complete from a dropdown menu. Hit enter/space/tab to confirm.
  • Logos in feeds and posts: By default, logos now appear before cashtags wherever you see them.

 

 

 

How to Control It:

Prefer a cleaner look? You have full control:

  • On Desktop: Visit Settings → Preferences → Show logos in posts
  • On Apps: Visit Settings → Display → Show logos in posts

 

 

What to Watch For:

  • Fewer typos: Autocomplete reduces posting errors.

  • Faster recognition: Logos make streams easier to scan.

  • Personal choice: Keep logos on for clarity or turn them off for simplicity.
